Small: Investment up to ₹ 10 Cr AND Turnover up to ₹ 50 Cr
Medium: Investment up to ₹ 50 Cr AND Turnover up to ₹ 250 Cr
All establishments/ organizations currently registered under EM-Part II (Entrepreneurs Memorandum) or UAM (Udyog Aadhar Memorandum Portal) need to get them re-registered on Udyam Registration Portal w.e.f. July 1, 2020 to avail the various benefits offered.

Step-1- Visit The Page

Step-2-Enter The Aadhar Number
An applicant shall enter the Aadhar No. and click on generate OTP. The OTP will be sent to the Mobile Number linked to the Aadhar card.
Step-3-Fill The Application Form
An applicant has to fill in the requisite details along with the personal details in the application form.
Here, the Personal details include Name, address, PAN Card, Bank account details, and some relevant information that is mandatory during the MSME registration process. Also, a photograph of the applicant needs to be uploaded.
Also, few things are taken into consideration while applying i.e. the MSME Registration can be done under the following categories-
1. New registration.
2. For those having registration as EMI-II or Udyog Aadhar Memorandum.
Further, New registration is done by entering Aadhar details of the applicant in 2 ways:-
1. Registration with PAN Card
2. Registration without PAN Card.
Step-4-Submission Of Application
Once the details are filed, an applicant shall apply.
Step-5-Processing Of Application
Once the application is submitted, the executive will review the application. In case of any discrepancies, the executive will intimate the same to the applicant on his/her registered E-mail id and number to make the relevant changes.

4. Is there any difference between Udyam Registration and MSME Certificate?
Udyam Registration is a registration to start a business under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises approved by the Government of India. Whereas MSME Certificate is a 12-digit Unique Identification Number (UIN) provided by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). -
5. Is it mandatory to have an Aadhar number for MSME registration?
Yes, Aadhaar card is mandatory for MSME registration. -
6. Will I receive a Physical Copy of the Certificate?
Udyam Certificate is an e-certificate and the Govt. does not issue any physical copy of the certificate. The online certificate sent to you on your Email is valid everywhere. -
7. What is the difference between SSI, MSME, Udyog Aadhar and Udyam?
SSI, MSME and Udyog Aadhar were earlier names of Udyam Registration. These have been discontinued and are now replaced by Udyam Registration. -
8. I need Udyam Registration to open a bank account. What do I enter in the bank account field if I do not have a bank account yet for my Firm/ Organization/ Company?
In case you do not have a bank account opened for your Firm/ Organization/ Company, you may enter the personal bank account details of the Proprietor or any of the Partner/Director of the Firm/Company.
